On Sunday, January 10, 2021, Dr. Aram M. Qadir-the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research received a delegate of the Bologna Process Committee at Kurdistan universities. In the meeting, they talked about the implementation of the Bologna process which enhances better quality education and paves the way for Kurdistan universities to be more international. Likewise, the minister expressed his gratitude that the European Union supports the implementation of the Bologna Process in Kurdistan universities.

It is worth mentioning that the University of Zakho was the first university in the Kurdistan region to implement the Bologna process successfully. Therefore, Dr. Yaseen T. Mustafa-Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies participated in this meeting.
